The Israel-Iran War

The ongoing Israel-Iran War is running full blown, with the potential of escalating into a larger regional war. The current round of hostilities commenced with Israel’s pre-emptive strikes in Iran. Justifying the strikes against Iran, the IDF said in a post on X: “15 nuclear bombs. That’s how many nuclear weapons Iran could’ve made, before we stopped them. We had no choice but to operate. It’s for our survival.” But according to Tulsi Gabbard, Director US National Intelligence, "Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Ayatollah Khamenei has not authorized the nuclear-weapons program he suspended in 2003" (https://www.newsweek.com/tulsi-gabbard-iran-nuclear-weapon-2051523). Jeffery Sachs is also clear when saying, “Iran does not want a nuclear weapon” (https://www.instagram.com/reel/DK2k9PyobY_/?igsh=MWJoZGIwZGljczIzZQ%3D%3D).

So, the claim that Iran was "weeks away" from having nukes (IAEA under threat of sanctions like the ICJ?) to justify Israel's pre-emptive attack, is nothing but a load of crap. It is eerily similar to American officials blatantly lying Saddam Hussain was building WMDs to justify invading Iraq. Also, the US claim that attacking Iran was a unilateral decision of Israel is hardly convincing; Rubio naturally must cover up the dirt. Jeffery Sachs says Netanyahu wants to drag the US into a war with Iran – others say neither Iran or America want to fight each other but Israel is engineering its hardest to get them to go to war. Carlson Tucker calls President Donald Trump “complicit in Israel’s attack” and has urged him to drop Israel and let them  fight their own wars. Concurrently, Trump has been threatening Iran and posts on X say B-52 bombers are being readied to attack Iran.

So, what is the truth? Do the American people, including strategist-scholars like Jeffrey Sachs and Carlson Tucker know the “whole” truth? Are they fully aware how “deep” the CIA and America’s deep state works? Are they aware how Barack Hussein Obama was “installed” as the POTUS: sent to Pakistan as a 19-year college student on “diplomatic” passport – later seen in Lahore and Peshawar with others on similar assignment; Dunham (Obama’s mom) positioned in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia, Thailand in line with the American plan to destabilize Southeast Asia; how Obama was propped up to the top job amid other eye openers? With the Great Game to destabilize South Asia underway, this should serve as a wakeup call for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Indian government on how the US operates, and not simply focus on political opponents.    

For the unaware, America wanted to “take out” Iran by 2006 or so  - seven countries in five years - Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and then Iran; as disclosed by Gen Wesley Clark (http://www.globalresearch.ca/we-re-going-to-take-out-7-countries-in-5-years-iraq-syria-lebanon-libya-somalia-sudan-iran/5166). This was to block/destroy the Iran-Iraq oil pipeline to Europe and advance Qatar’s oil supply instead. But the US couldn’t take out Syria as the CIA was unable to topple Bashar al-Sadat. Now that Syria has been taken with the help of Al Qaeda terrorist Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa and the US has established a presence in Damascus, Iran naturally is the next target.  

Russian President Vladimir Putin aptly describes the internal mechanics of America when he says that the real power in the US doesn’t rest with presidents but with the dark suited men who work in the shadows and hand them their marching orders. It’s why every single leader ends up having the same policies while dressing it up differently. Trump, who painted himself an apostle of peace in his pre-election rallies and promised ending the war in Ukraine earliest, is reduced to a comic version of Joe Biden; dancing to the tune of the deep state – his powers limited to making money for America, himself and his family.

It is no secret that the US has been using Israel to destabilize the Middle East/West Asia, as has been covered in these columns earlier.  Israel has full support of the US and both have been using Islamic terrorists as proxies. ISIS doesn’t attack Israel since they are backed by Israel and CIA. Netanyahu has admitted using ISIS in Gaza. Israeli attacks are coordinated with the US, even though some cost Israeli lives. For example, Israel had advance information of the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, but border troops were not alerted; to enable invasion and vacation of Gaza, assuming control of energy reserves, positioning of US troop in Gaza and building Trump’s Riviera.  Planning for the pre-emptive attack on Iran, as well as placement of assets within Iran goes back a year and a half. This was obviously discussed between Trump and Netanyahu during their in-person meetings.

As of now, both Israel and Iran are suffering casualties and damages, but the extent remains ambiguous with disinformation campaigns at both ends. The attack on oil infrastructure and oil assets in Iran is what the US would love the most; advancing America’s economic interests. There is speculation that Iran’s missile attack on the Haifa refinery, which supplies more than 60% of gasoline,  diesel and jet fuel for the Israeli Air Force, could cause  fuel problem for Israel. But the war will likely continue with US support because this is what America’s deep state wants. Trump can be expected to keep blabbering “US participation possible” to “Iran and Israel should make a deal. And will make a deal … blah blah.”  

Whether US-Israel affect a regime change in Iran or not (the next regime may be more determined to acquire nuclear capability), India’s current stance could imply lack of access to Afghanistan, Central Asia and beyond, plus disruption-cum-closure of the International North-South Transportation Corridor (INSTC). Hike in oil prices would unlikely effect India’s economy because the dispensation will simply raise the GST, let the populace bear the brunt and keep singing inflation is running low. India could also lose access to cheap Iranian oil and hardening of Iran-India relations despite the tight-rope trapeze by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar; speaking to counterparts in both Iran and Israel. Modi’s trip to Ukraine, including the eight-hour train journey from Poland to Ukraine, to hug Volodymyr Zelensky led to Russia not blaming Pakistan for the Pahalgam massacre.  

The covert placement of Israeli assets inside Iran and their activation, far exceeds the pager attacks that Israel executed against Hezbollah. Not only did Israel stock drones inside Iran, it deployed Special Forces to potentially use Spike NLOS ATGMs against Iranian air defence sites, as well as activating loitering munitions planted within  Iran. Shouldn’t Indian Special Forces, far more in numbers, be employed similarly? A post on social media reads: “Such a suggestion could cause the political hierarchy to wet their pants. They are content with their intelligence wearing emperor’s clothes who didn’t even know Nur Khan air base is US-controlled and American nukes are stored in Pakistan”.   

The ’War of Civilizations’ was replaced by ‘Economic Wars’ decades ago and “civilization” replaced by “bastardization”. If civilization war was on: America would not let thousands of Christians be killed in Ukraine for its own economic gain; the Muslim world would rise against over 55,000 Palestinians butchered in Gaza since October 2023; Muslim countries, including Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, would not kowtow to China with a million Uighurs in concentration camps, mosques demolished and public toilets built at the same spots.  Examples of “bastardization” could run into millions, a few of which are: the vacuous Nixon-Kissinger duo making China the industrial superpower of the world; America allowing China to give Pakistan nuclear technology and ignoring Pakistan’s nuclear proliferation; US deliberately allowing China to militarize the SCS and ECS in order to keep Northeast Asian nations on a leash; America emasculating Europe economically and industry-wise through the war in Ukraine; Qatar financing Islamic terrorists organizations globally (like a wife having 72 husbands), followed  by the charade of hosting peace talks; White House saying  Asim Munir not invited for military parade, without mentioning why is Munir invited to Washington, while Derek J Grossman (Rand Corporation) posted on X: “For India, the Trump admin's invitation to Pakistani Field Marshal Asim Munir to attend the US army parade on Saturday is tantamount to inviting an avowed anti-India terrorist to attend. Good luck to the US-India strategic partnership.”

What lies ahead cannot be predicted. Trump has warned on his Truth Social portal that Israel’s next round of strikes could be “even more brutal” if Iran does not return to the negotiating table over its nuclear program. There has already been great death and destruction but there is still time to make this slaughter come to an end”. Iran has ruled out any talks amid hostilities. Jordan has shut its airspace due to Israeli airstrikes. Trump says “sometimes it is good to let them fight for a while” – naturally that’s what the deep state wants. Gordon Chang warns that China may use proxies to hit back since it consumes 90% of Iranian oil. 

But if US joins the war beyond using Israel as its proxy, what stops China and Russia taking out Isreal and what stops World War III whether it goes nuclear or not? If Iran hypothetically had a nuke, would it use it against Israel; definitely not, knowing Israel is a nuclear state. If Israel nukes Iran, a global war is certain. Besides, can the US risk mutual destruction through direct war with Russia or China, leave aside both? The answer is no because even Satan has a heart problem – witness the US stopped bombarding the Houthi when its aircraft carrier was hit and two F-35s rolled into the ocean. Meanwhile, Starmer (with his latest scam of £1,25,000), Macron (who travelled alone for the G7 meet fearing another slap from wifey), Merz (whose grandpa was probably buddy of Trump’s grandpa) can continue discussing fuelling the war in Ukraine and feasibility of joining a larger Middle East War. In order to earn brownie points as members of Washington’s kennel club.

America’s disinformation campaign that Xi Jinping faces monumental problems at home and may soon be replaced, was similar to the one engineered against Putin three years back. But having fired his tariffs, ducked under TACO and soon realized even his war mongering will go for a six without China. So, he spoke to Xi on telephone and is heaving a sigh of relief that the flow of rare earth minerals (REM) from China will continue. REM is why Trump continues to support and arm Ukraine. Incidentally, the US is mum about North Korea stating it will help Iran. And, China tested Pakistan’s first nuke on its own soil in the Lop Nor region – would it do so for Iran?
